Delete Your Account

The normal way to delete your account and data is inside the app:

1. Sign in to your KRON account.
2. Go to the “Settings” page.
3. Tap the “Delete Account” button near the bottom of the page.
4. In the confirmation dialog that opens, type your own username exactly to confirm.
5. Tap “Delete Forever” to finish.

The username confirmation is verified server-side against your account’s username. This is a safeguard against accidental or mistaken deletion.

If you cannot access your account, email kron@kron.social from the email address associated with the account and include your username. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.

When you delete your account, the following are removed:

• Your account and profile information (username, display name, bio, favourite sport).
• Your reactions/posts and their likes.
• Your replies and reply likes.
• Your echoes (view/engagement records).
• Polls you created and votes you cast.
• Your follows and followers relationships.
• Notifications where you are the recipient or the actor.
• Your uploaded profile photo, banner and post media (unless another user’s still-existing post relies on the same media).
• Your push-notification subscriptions.
• Your pending verification and diamond requests.

For audit purposes, we retain a record containing only an internal user identifier and a status value (“pending/failed/completed”) — no email address or username is stored in this record. In addition, as described in our Privacy Policy, security, transaction and legal records may be retained for a reasonable period required for their purpose, and removal from backups may take additional time.

Once you confirm your username, deletion happens immediately. There is no grace period or recovery window to reverse the deletion.
