This page is published publicly, without requiring sign-in, in line with Google Play policy. It sets out KRON’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report a concern, and how KRON responds.
1. Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that constitutes child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) are strictly prohibited on KRON. Grooming, the sexualisation of minors, and any content that endangers children are equally prohibited. This content and behaviour is never permitted; when identified, it is removed and the responsible account is actioned.
2. Age requirement
KRON is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use KRON with parent or guardian permission where required by local law. If we learn that data belongs to a child under 13, we will take steps to remove the account and data.
3. How to report a concern
You can report a post from inside the app, using the menu on any post:
- Open the menu on the relevant post.
- Tap “Report”.
- Select “Child safety concern” from the list of reasons.
- Submit it. The report is flagged for moderation review.
If you cannot use the app, email kron@kron.social. Where possible, include the post link or username and a short description of the concern.
4. How KRON responds
Reports are reviewed through our admin moderation panel. Content confirmed to violate this policy is removed, and the associated account may be suspended (profiles carry a suspension status). Relevant evidence is preserved to support review and, where required, sharing with the appropriate authorities.
5. Reporting to authorities
KRON reports child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) to the relevant regional and national authorities as required by applicable law.
